Its that time of year again. The nights are drawing in and the critical eye is out once again, as we begin to analyse the successes and failures up and down the field in 2013. Each and every day leading up to Christmas, a team will be reviewed on the blog, ending with the 2013 double Champions Red Bull on the 24th December. Mid-Season Review: Giedo Van Der Garde
After evaluating the Marussia pairing, attention now turns to the Caterham duo in the intense duel for the illusive tenth place in the constructors championship. Dutch rookie, Giedo Van Der Garde, has been under pressure throughout the season as his teammate Charles Pic has consistently topped his performances on both Saturday's and Sunday's. While Giedo's position is under threat, recent demonstrations of pace may have prompted a reevaluation of his progress by the team. Here's my take on his season so far.

Van der Garde Maintains Positivity
Caterham have experienced an underwhelming start to the season. They have been accused of following the wrong development path, after building a "hybrid" car, however, Giedo Van der Garde has not given up hope just yet. The Dutchman has reinstated his belief that the team can recover from their early issues and challenge fierce rivals Marussia, in the battle for 10th in the constructors.
